HOW LONG WILL MY BATH REFINISH/REGLAZE LAST FOR?
Velez Bath Refinishing uses the most technologically advanced bath refinishing and reglazing coatings available. Our proprietary process can extend the life of most bathroom fixtures for 15 years or more with normal care and cleaning. Our unique seven-step spray application gives you the most durable refinished surface possible, delivering a finish that is long lasting as it is beautiful. NO MORE NASTY TUBS!

IS THERE AN ODOR?
Yes, at least for a few hours. The Velez Bath technician will protect and exhaust the work area to minimize any odor. Just like the lingering smell of new carpet or a freshly painted room, the smell from refinishing dissipates very quickly.

WARRANTY INFO
Velez Bath offers a 3 Year Warranty against peeling and blistering, except for the following:

- Discoloring due to lack of cleaning (soap film)
- Man-made damage like impact chips, corroded metal, damage caused by plumbing leaks or rubber suction mats and discoloration of caulking

GOOD FOR THE PLANET AND ENVIRONMENT
Replacing bathtubs and tiles means a lot of material gets thrown into a landfill near your home. And there it sits – forever. Refinishing also reduces the pollution created by manufacturing, transporting and installing new fixtures. Most bathtub refinishers use acid to chemically etch a porcelain surface to accept coatings. we will not bring harmful acids into your home. Velez Bath produces very little waste in our process.

BATH REFINISHING and REGLAZING PROCESS AND AFTERCARE CLEANING
PREPARATION: Please remove all loose items from the room BEFORE our technician arrives to do the refinishing. This includes curtains, pictures, accessories, rugs, etc.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Use only non-abrasive, Formula 409, Lysol Tub/Tile Cleaner, or Scrubbing Bubbles on your refinished tub, tile, or shower. Do not allow any after-shower cleaners to remain on surface for any extended period of time. Rinse thoroughly and wipe the surface with a soft sponge or cloth.

COLOR: The standard color for Velez Bath is white. Any color other than white requires mixing of pigments and MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CUSTOMER before the finish can be applied. Please choose carefully as the color once applied cannot be changed except by completely reapplying new materials at the customer’s expense. We charge $50.00 for the extra color.

MATERIALS: Velez Bath technicians use materials and chemicals specifically designed for refinishing. They are trained in the proper use and handling of those materials which generally should not create any kind of health hazard for the customer. However, as a precautionary measure, we suggest that anyone with sensitivity to solvent or paint-type smells remain out of the work area until the smell has dissipated.
